Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it’s also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies. Most women note an increase in well-being and breathing techniques. Massage may also help with the discomfort of pre-labor and labor pains. 

This modality is modified slightly using a special prenatal pillow designed specifically to allow you to lay on your stomach. If you are not comfortable laying on your stomach we are able to position you in a side-laying position, very similar to the way you would sleep.
